Find Your Degree Requirements using 2024-2025 Course Catalog
Use the Physical and Biological Sciences Division catalog to locate your major by expanding the content menu within each department. Major qualification requirements are under ‘Information and Policies’. Lower- and upper-division courses and examples of academic plans are under ‘Requirements and Planners’.

Summer Resources to Help You Stay on Track

- Review a list of courses offered every summer at UCSC.
- Check Transfer Credit Equivalency using Assist.org. Under ‘articulation agreements’, select the academic year, UCSC as the institution, and your community college for ‘agreements with other institutions.’
Tutoring Resources
The benefits of tutoring include:
- Consistent practice time with tutors, learning skills advisors, or peer mentors to tackle the most challenging aspects of their STEM course
- Improved study habits and confidence
- A fun, friendly, inclusive, and welcoming environment to meet mentors, friends, and STEM colleagues
- Increased exposure to research, internships, and networking opportunities at UCSC
Undergraduate Tutoring Center Learning Support Services (LSS)
- Increase student success with proven tutoring programs offered as small or large groups, study halls offering one-on-one drop-in support, and individual tutoring.
Academic Excellence Program (ACE)
- Master STEM courses with help from the ACE Program, an academic success program aimed to help students. If you are already enrolled in one or more of the supported courses, you will receive an application link sent to you via email directly from the ACE Program. ALEKS
- More than math placement – ALEKS is available for studying math throughout your first year at UCSC.
Student Accommodations and Wellness
